Professional Dog Walking & Training

We have a pickup up and drop home service since 2015, Tuesday to Friday each week.

Our adventures are made fun, teaching dogs to make great choices, working the brain and body to overall healthy dogs, moving as one for belonging & achievement.

Adventures are tailored to the dog to grow confidence & feel safe to interact. Each day we have four separate dog groups, small & sensitive, medium, big & greyhounds.

Our team gets to know each dog’s personality, behaviour, and specific needs so we can provide tailored, compassionate care.

Dogs should have freedom and fulfillment without disturbing others or putting themselves in harm’s way. Knowing a full range of training techniques and truly understanding 'dog language' assists us to work with high energy dogs to fear based or nervous anxious behaviour dogs setting a safe space for everyone.

Our Day

  • Separated daily packs tailored by size and type, including small, medium, big dog 1:13 ratio, and greyhound groups 1:10 ratio.

  • Supervised exercise on private, fully fenced rural land featuring native forest, open grass, and fresh water.

  • Outings continue rain or shine unless Red weather warning.

  • Home Pickup and Dropoff service, Tuesday to Friday.

  • Pickup times are 7am - 8.45am & Drop‑offs from 12.30pm to 2:30pm

  • Daily Facebook posts to show off our day on our private fb group.

    Our dog loves Doggone Attitude! Somehow, she knows what day it is and doesn’t mess around in the mornings – after her morning ritual, she is straight to the front window to watch for the van to arrive. When the van does arrive, I don’t even get a backward glance, as she’s straight in the van and off on her adventure. The team at Doggone Attitude has enhanced her training and she’s a bit more polite these days. I couldn’t recommend Doggone Attitude enough for their fun outings and fine tuning of commands.

    Janelle and her team at Doggone Attitude Adventures have been instrumental in helping our dog, Sammy. We adopted her when she was five after she came from a severely neglected situation. Among other things, she had never been properly socialised.

    Janelle worked closely with us to build Sam’s confidence while teaching and reinforcing positive structure and respectful boundaries around other dogs. She created a rewarding, supportive and safe place where Sammy could learn, grow and thrive.

    Now nearly 14, Sammy is in her twilight years and has retired from school, but Janelle remains an important part of our lives and Sam still absolutely loves her sleepovers and seeing her “old" dog friends!  We’ll always be grateful for the care, patience and understanding Janelle and her team have shown our girl.

    For more than six years, Janelle and her amazing team have provided exceptional care for our girls, Evie and Hazel, through weekly walks and homestays. The excitement starts the moment they’re picked up, knowing a day of fun, socialisation, and adventure awaits.

    Since Manu and Toa first met Janelle I have seen such a major change in their behaviour and discipline. My two boys are always excited when she arrives to the house to collect them for their daily walks. She will always insure their safety and enjoyment on every outing which I can review online via Facebook photos she posts. The walks they do are amazing as she covers places all around Auckland and are adapted to the weather on the day. Not only are her training skills an A++
